Arrow Point Nature Resort

Arrowpoint nature resort is fascinating! The adventure begins the moment you sit in the resorts comfortable flat deck powerboat at Timehri docks - just 35 minutes from Georgetown or 5 minutes from Cheddi Jagan International Airport. The journey across the brown waters of the Demerara River takes only minutes, before you enter the dark, almost transparent waters of meandering Kumuni Creek.

The 45-minute 'Disney-like' boat ride takes you past the Amerindian village of Aratack and the Santa Mission Reservation before arriving at Arrowpoint Nature Resort.The resort was built by Amerindians using local materials from the surrounding area - with the exception of the windows, toilet facilities, the solar-powered hot water system, helipad, and satellite telephone.Arrow Point is named after the arrow trees which grow abundantly in the area, and from which the Amerindians make their arrows for hunting.
